Aircraft and Helicopter Lighting
WHELEN has developed a complete range of internal and external lighting products for aircrafts and helicopters:
- Power supplies
- Halogen or strobe Tubes
- Light emitting diodes LED
- HID landing lights
These products can easily replace original equipment which is especially interesting with LED, as they allow a better luminescence with a lower power consumption. Moreover, LED allow :
- reduce the weight of the aircraft by reducing the size of power supply (Generator)
- increase life, up to 10 000 hours in some applications
- reduce damages due to shocks and vibrations, because there is no filament
- cancel EMI or RFI interference
